During the visit, His Excellency, Datuk Wan Zaidi remarked that KSA has developed a strong and vibrant real estate development business environment, guided by its Vision 2030’s commitment to economic diversification and sustainability. Vision 2030 seeks to increase homeownership of KSA citizens to 70% by year 2030. As part of this vision, KSA is strengthening its real estate sector not only to position itself as a global business and tourism hub but also to expand homeownership opportunities for its citizens, ensuring greater accessibility to quality housing. This opens up numerous opportunities for MGB to explore and participate in the country’s ambitious real estate and development plans, leveraging its expertise in large-scale construction of residential properties. His Excellency also took the opportunity to congratulate MGB for successfully establishing its business and presence in KSA, expressing his best wishes to MGB in securing more prestigious and sizeable orders and contracts from the government and its affiliates.

MGB’s subsidiary, MGB International for Industry, operates the precast factory through its joint venture with Sany Alameriah Industrial (“SA”). The joint venture entered into in July 2023 is MGB’s first international project, with an aim to participate in KSA’s Vision 2030. With vast experience in mass construction of affordable housing means MGB is able to leverage its expertise and gain an advantage to secure projects in the country. SA, on the other hand, is a joint venture company incorporated in KSA between SANY, the world’s second-largest heavy equipment manufacturer, and Alameriah, a leading real estate developer involved in general construction, infrastructure, design and build, and precast concrete manufacturing. MGB has since collaborated with Nordimpianti and MCT Italy to coordinate, refine and automatise the processes of its machineries to enhance the efficiency of such tools and optimise operations for its production lines. The upgraded machineries and enhanced processes have improved MGB’s overall product consistency and quality. With an annual production capacity of 250,000 cubic metres, the Jeddah factory’s capacity is approximately 2.5 times larger than its Nilai factory and Alam Perdana mobile plant, which have a combined capacity of approximately 100,000 cubic metres.
