The rapid urbanisation of Selangor has created a challenge for the state, which faces increased demand for affordable housing as a means to enhance the well-being of its community. The lower income B40 and M40 groups in particular struggle financially to afford homes in infrastructure-rich locations.
Stepping up to the challenge, MGB is part of a consortium that launched the Rumah Selangorku Idaman MBI affordable homes – a series of 6 high-rise residential homes projects in well-connected and infrastructure rich townships of Cybersouth, Alam Perdana, Bandar Saujana Putra, Shah Alam and Puchong.
Comfortably-furnished with convenient access to public amenities, these projects are designed to accord its residents a truly affordable lifestyle within matured neighbourhoods, with prices starting at only RM250,000 onwards.
MGB took the lead to coordinate with various authorities and regulatory bodies to mobilise this project and formulate our affordable housing solution.
With an end-to-end approach striving towards the highest cost efficiency and practicality to achieve the lowest cost of living for its residents, MGB undertook the planning, product design, manufacture, financing, construction, and after sale service, tapping into our IBS pre-cast technology to build 7,210 units of these affordable homes.
