SELANGOR, 7th April 2026 – MGB Berhad (“MGB” or the “Group”), a leading construction, property development and Industrialised Building System (“IBS”) precast concrete manufacturer and subsidiary of LBS Bina Group Berhad, delivered Vacant Possession (“VP”) to eager home owners for Idaman Cahaya Phase 1 and Idaman Phase Cahaya 2, honouring its commitment to delivering quality and affordable homes under the Rumah Idaman MBI initiative. Located in Shah Alam, Idaman Cahaya is the third of six Rumah Idaman MBI projects by MGB Berhad, an initiative by the Selangor State Government to provide affordable housing to citizens across the state.
Strategically positioned in the heart of Shah Alam, easily accessed through and from major highways, Idaman Cahaya offers seamless connectivity across the Klang Valley.This is another achievement under the Rumah Idaman MBI initiative and underscores MGB’s role in supporting the Selangor State Government’s vision of delivering quality, affordable housing in well-connected urban locations.Idaman Cahaya is a high-rise affordable housing development spanning three phases and comprising a total 1,853 residential units. The homes are thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of modern urban families, with practical layouts, essential amenities and accessibility at the forefront. With the commencement of delivery of VP for both Idaman Cahaya Phase 1 and Phase 2, MGB anticipates the commencement for construction for Idaman Cahaya Phase 3 later this year.
The delivery VP for both Phases 1 and 2 respectively follows the successful completion of their respective roof topping milestones in December 2024 and March 2025, reflecting MGB’s disciplined execution and strong delivery capabilities. These milestones were achieved through the Group’s extensive application of its IBS precast concrete technology, which enabled faster construction timelines while ensuring consistent build quality and safety standards.
